TSA subpoenas bloggers, demands names of sources

Read more here:

" Frischling said he met with two TSA special agents Tuesday night at his Connecticut home for about three hours and again on Wednesday morning when he was forced to hand over his lap top computer. Frischling said the agents threatened to interfere with his contract to write a blog for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines if he didn't cooperate and provide the name of the person who leaked the memo.
"It literally showed up in my box," Frischling told The Associated Press. "I do not know who it came from." He said he provided the agents a signed statement to that effect."
------------
Note: I thought journalists were not obligated to reveal their sources. Oh - but bloggers are not journalists we will hear. I'm sorry, but it is from bloggers - and not the corporate media controlled "journalists" that we get any real information any more. That is probably why the information was sent to a blogger and not to a corporate media outlet - after all - the corporate media lied us into two wars. Silencing bloggers is a trend toward tyranny. Why is anyone afraid of "crazy conspiracy theorists" - the public can tell if someone is telling them the truth. Or is that the problem? If we have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people - why in the world are our paid servants hiding information from us?

Was the Afghan Bomb Attack an Inside Job?

Read more here:

" (CBS) It all happened at a well-fortified combat outpost in Eastern Afghanistan. Somehow a suicide bomber was able to bring his explosives on the base, walk up to a group of American civilians and blow himself up. It will take an investigation to determine how he did it.

But the outpost is located in the middle of a notorious stronghold for Afghan insurgents near the border with Pakistan, reports CBS News correspondent David Martin. "

Ben Stein calls Ron Paul antisemitic on Larry King-Video

Read and watch here:

" Ron Paul appeared on Larry King Live on CNN this evening along with Ben Stein and Sheila Jackson Lee to discuss the recent thwarted terrorist attack. After Paul gives his now famous view that they “attack us because we are over there” Ben Stein calls Paul antisemitic which solicits a demand for an apology by Paul. Paul characterizes it as a “vicious attack”."
------------
Note: How any reasonable person can call Ron Paul anti-semitic with the expectation anyone would take them seriously is beyond me. Recognize this unfounded attack for what it is - an attempt to smear Ron Paul. Look at Ron Paul's record - listen to his reasonable discussions and make up your own mind. As for me I already know this attack is an attempt to side-track a discussion that would reveal truth were it allowed to continue without mud-slinging.

A bomb-sniffing dog was sent in to check the bags, and something was detected in another passenger’s carry-on bag, Mr. Haskell said.
"I can’t believe they let us stand by him for almost an hour," he said.
The security in Amsterdam was similar to the United States, Mr. Haskell said, but he still is baffled how a person without a passport would be allowed to board a plane.

Has anyone in power other than Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich and maybe a handful of others ever considered that if we stop dropping bombs on other people and wiping out their families that we might be able to make friends with them? Note: Is it me or is America not that important in this speech? Listen to all the rhetoric about how Obama is going to free us from a dependence on foreign oil - now look at the actions of said leaders. Looks like war for Israel to me. Schumer - to me at least - seems like a violent religious extremist - and he has been at the forefront of stripping Americans of their right to bear arms. I wonder why? This joker needs a new deck of cards - he has nothing to do with preserving the Bill of Rights does he?

Anyone trying to convince us that they have the power to take away our rights, as spelled out in the Bill of Rights - is my enemy. Schumer fits the description.

Why I Fear for my Country

For the first time I'm scared. I mean really scared. For the first time in my lifetime it looks like America may actually be coming to an end.

As I traveled over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays I payed special attention to the public. At gas stations and shopping centers - I took the time to observe. We are doomed. These people have nothing, know nothing, and are not interested. Talk about rabble.

As I spoke to members of my family at holiday celebrations - about topics foreign to me - like what's going on with their favorite TV show... my heart sank. No hope.

As I browsed the web to see the most recent joke of a terrorist attack - just enough not to cause property damage but just enough to scare the cringing American soccer-moms - I just stared. The conversation in the background continued - I didn't participate.

America is presently doomed. I've not even had the energy to do much blogging - since the words seem to fall on a mass of sheep intent on filling their stomachs. These are not citizens - they are consumers - oblivious to the death and destruction spread in their names.

The American citizen has become a penniless tool of credit card companies - unable to perform their duty as citizen since they cannot collect enough brain energy to grasp the mind-fuck under which they live. They live for a few moments between jobs - or rides to their children's activities, while monsters blow their still-uncollected tax money on expensive robot-drones used to kill "terrorists" - whatever they are. Ask an American what a terrorist is - you might as well ask a cinderblock.

We need a plan, leadership, and decisive action to save America. Our leaders have failed us. Many are being blackmailed. Unless those of us with the answers are taken seriously in public and supported this country is gone.

But maybe I'm wrong - that there really are Americans out there. That there are people who understand that anyone pretending that they have the power to take away their rights is a traitor and an enemy.

In the coming year it will be of the utmost importance to educate, invigorate and galvanize all. The American public is up against an organized force of thieves, liars and power-hungry oligarchs with the means, motive and opportunity to take everything. But what does it matter?

Our Bill of Rights is the only thing we have right now. There is absolutely no respect given to the Constitution of the United States - Why? Why when we have a so-called constitutional scholar in the White House? Perhaps the best way to undermine the Constitution is with someone who understands it best. And I've concluded from my holiday observations that no one is looking out for the American citizen regarding the Constitution of the United States. Especially not the American citizen. No - they cling to their belief that "somebody cares" - or maybe they are so ignorant of the theft of the only thing they have that matters - unique in time - and unique in world history - their Bill of Rights and Constitution - ...

I am concerned that the media is useless providing zero feedback to the population so elections can work. I am concerned that our elections are stolen - by companies who can give a paper receipt for a bank transaction at an ATM but not at the election booth. I am concerned that we have mercenary armies raping and pillaging half the planet with our money but not representing our ideals. I am concerned that our elected representatives, blackmailed, are using mercenaries to continue wars that have no support here in the United States. I am concerned that false-flag operations are constantly used, with the support of a phony news media - to stampede the American public into actions contrary to their freedoms. That's treason by the way.

For the first time in my life I've heard stable even-tempered adults discussing violent revolution. How crazy is that? Is that what it is going to take?

Where is the FBI on 911 Truth? AWOL. Our insane alphabet-soup agencies, CIA, NSA and the rest of them are simply a bunch of robotic brainwashed idiots - running around the world sticking their noses in everyone else's business - then when their nation-building antics backfire - we, the American public, are supposed to sit here and accept the police state required to maintain this madness. How about no?

How about no more prisons? How about no more cops running around with automatic rifles in this "land of the free and home of the brave?" How about some real change we can believe in?

Obama is a fraud, a liar, and as far as I am concerned a traitor. He is a one-world government con-artist with no respect for what America really stands for. He is a front-man for a group of con-artists - troops to Yemen, Columbia, Pakistan - continue the war in Afghanistan, Iraq, saber-rattling toward Iran. Is this clown for real? Why doesn't he declare war on the North Pole? Or is that a coming attraction?

Here in Charlottesville, Virginia we've recently been buried under a blanket of snow too high to drive through with most Jeeps. The entire town crippled - couldn't plow our own roads. What if Al Quaida attacked then? People were stuck in their cars overnight - no emergency crews could reach them. Yeah - we are really a superpower. Meanwhile our military is deployed the world over to save everything.

2010 must be the year of the plan. We need leadership, ideas and action. We need to shit-can our members of the House of Representatives - the first place to look - who don't know what a Bill of Rights is. We need to kick out anybody trampling on that Bill of Rights. Then we need to start working out from there.

Our dysfunctional House of Representatives is the starting line - the first place to focus all actions. And we need them to tackle the big issues - like 911 Truth and these phony wars. Anybody using the term "War on Terror" needs to be fired - period.

I guess I've ranted enough - I just hope some of this sank in. We are in big, big trouble here in America - and if we don't get organized and unite as Americans - we'll be saluting a new flag very very soon.

Inventories of agricultural products are the lowest they have been in decades yet the prices of many agricultural commodities are down 70% to 80% from their all time highs adjusted for real inflation. Catastrophic food shortages are possible in 2010, not just in the U.S. but all around the world."

Test for a Court as Prosecutors Face Liberia’s Ex-Ruler

Read more here:

" An international panel of four judges, based in The Hague, is trying Mr. Taylor specifically for arming and controlling a brutal rebel force in Sierra Leone during the country’s 1991-2002 civil war that led to the deaths of some 200,000 people. His indictment holds him accountable for the rebels’ crimes as they pillaged, killed and raped, used children as soldiers and hacked off hands to terrorize civilians. Many others died in his home country, Liberia, but events there are not within the mandate of the court.

Much is at stake at this first war crimes trial of an African president. It is seen as a new test for trying a former head of state in an international tribunal. The case against Slobodan Milosevic, the former Serbian president, ended inconclusively when he died in his cell in The Hague."

Americans Are Hell-Bent on Tyranny vs Iranian crowd stops execution and frees convicts

Read more here:

" Obama’s dwindling band of true believers has taken heart that their man has finally delivered on one of his many promises--the closing of the Guantanamo prison. But the prison is not being closed. It is being moved to Illinois, if the Republicans permit.

In truth, Obama has handed his supporters another defeat. Closing Guantanamo meant ceasing to hold people in violation of our legal principles of habeas corpus and due process and ceasing to torture them in violation of US and international laws.

All Obama would be doing would be moving 100 people, against whom the US government is unable to bring a case, from the prison in Guantanamo to a prison in Thomson, Illinois.

Are the residents of Thomson despondent that the US government has chosen their town as the site on which to continue its blatant violation of US legal principles? No, the residents are happy. It means jobs. "

Here are the facts: Iran has never been found out of compliance with the nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT) they signed. However, being surrounded by nuclear powers one can understand why they might want to become nuclear capable if only to defend themselves and to be treated more respectfully. After all, we don’t sanction nuclear capable countries. We take diplomatic negotiations a lot more seriously, and we frequently send money to them instead. The non-nuclear countries are the ones we bomb. If Iran was attempting to violate the non-proliferation treaty, they could hardly be blamed, since US foreign policy gives them every incentive to do so. "

" Marvin Bush was the cofounder of Winston Partners in 1993, a company that benefited greatly from the War on Terror. In 2000, Winston Partners invested heavily in a defense contractor called AMSEC that was 55% owned by Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). It has been noted that SAIC was not only a major contributor to the NIST WTC report, it was also a company that had expertise in nanothermites, explosive materials which were found in the WTC dust as mentioned earlier.[24]

Founded by a scientist from Los Alamos National Laboratory, SAIC had a long history at the WTC, having evaluated the basement levels of the buildings as a potential terrorist target in 1986.[25] Interestingly, the company was hired to investigate the 1993 bombing of the WTC, an event that was “remarkably like the one which” they had foreseen in 1986.[26] In fact, SAIC later boasted that -- “After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, our blast analyses produced tangible results that helped identify those responsible.”[27]

After 9/11, SAIC supplied the largest contingent of non-governmental investigators to the WTC investigation conducted NIST. At the same time, “SAIC personnel were instrumental in pressing the case that weapons of mass destruction existed in Iraq under Saddam Hussein, and that war was the only way to get rid of them.”[28]"

David Ray Griffin reviews John Farmer's book "The Ground Truth"

Read more here:

"Most provocatively, Farmer presents his book as a rejection of the "official" account of 9/11, which was given by "the government," by which he means primarily the FAA and the Pentagon. But this rhetoric is misleading for three reasons.

First, Farmer's book is a defense of the 9/11 Commission's report, which he calls "accurate, and true" (2), and the Commission was itself a governmental body: its chairman, Thomas Kean, was appointed by Bush; the other members were appointed by Congress; and the executive director, Philip Zelikow, was essentially a member of the Bush White House.

Second, the "official account of 9/11," as generally understood, is the Bush-Cheney administration's conspiracy theory, according to which the 9/11 attacks resulted from a conspiracy between Osama bin Laden and some members of al-Qaeda, and Farmer supports this theory.

Third, in rejecting the "official version," Farmer is referring only to the first version of the official account. It was replaced in 2004 by the 9/11 Commission's version, which since then has been the official version of the official account. In spite of his rhetoric, therefore, Farmer is defending the official account of 9/11 produced by the government in 2004, so the book is far less radical than it has been promoted as being.

Even more serious than the book's misleading rhetoric is its one-sidedness. Rather than containing an impartial examination of various types of relevant evidence, this book by Farmer - a former prosecuting attorney - reads like a lawyer's brief: Besides citing a large number of facts that appear to support the Bush-Cheney conspiracy theory and trying to undermine some of the contrary evidence (which supports the alternative theory, according to which 9/11 was an inside job), it seeks to suppress, by simply ignoring, the enormous bulk of this contrary evidence.

This one-sided approach is acceptable within an adversarial law court, given the presence of an opposing lawyer, but it does not result in a book that is acceptable by scholarly standards. "

DNA evidence, 911, and the renewed hunt for Osama bin Laden

Read more about DNA evidence by clicking here where you will find:

DNA EVIDENCE ANALYSIS IS IMPERFECT
" Even more troubling are cases of DNA fraud -- instances where criminals plant fake DNA samples at a crime scene. In 1992, Canadian physician John Schneeberger planted fake DNA evidence in his own body to avoid suspicion in a rape case. Planting fake DNA obtained from someone else is only part of the problem. Scientists at Nucleix, an Israeli company, recently reported that they could, with access to profiles stored in one of the DNA databases, manufacture a sample of DNA without obtaining any tissue from that person.

Nucleix has developed a test to distinguish real DNA samples from fake ones, with the goal of selling the test to forensic laboratories. But taking these extra precautions to ensure the validity of its results will only slow down busy labs even more. In fact, forensic casework backlogs are becoming a serious problem. A study conducted by the Bureau of Justice Statistics found that more than half a million cases were backlogged in forensic labs, which means felons and other violent offenders could be walking the streets while their DNA evidence sits in a queue, waiting to be tested [source: Houck].
"

UNBELIEVABLY FAST DNA ANALYSIS - IS IT BELIEVABLE?
You may find the previous link interesting - I did because I was always amazed at how quickly all hijackers from the 911 attacks appeared in the newspaper. I've always wondered how, given the collossal wreckage heap investigators were faced with in the days following the 911 attacks that they were able to positively identify all the blown-to-bits hijackers. We were told that thanks to DNA analysis we know FOR SURE who the hijackers were. Unfortunately it can't be that simple.

Regarding the DNA evidence found at the WTC 911 crime scene - each sample would represent at a minimum one of approximately 3,000 random samples - each representing one victim or hijacker present. Each sample would have to be carefully saved (don't put in plastic according to the article)- documented - paying attention to chain of custody of evidence - then matched with an existing sample stored from each suspect. Wait did I just say suspect?

Regarding the hijackers yes, regarding the victims another word for unknown would be used. DNA evidence is similar to fingerprint evidence in that a sample lifted at the scene must be matched with a sample from the person from which it originated. So one must have a sample stored somewhere waiting to make the match - or one must go to a suspect and take a sample to match with what was found at the crime scene. Well - sometimes it is more complicated than that. For each complication add more time to the matching process. Remember that the matching process itself isn't foolproof as "probabilities" come into play. Fine - lets say the US government knew each of the hijackers well and had samples - still this process must be complicated, time-consuming, and imperfect. No problem - except that the hijackers' pictures appeared in this Washington Post article from September 28, 2001. Just days to do all that work. Mighty quick work don't you think? Too bad they aren't as efficient at finding Osama bin Laden. CLICK HERE to see for yourself.

BUT IN 2008 THE 911 DNA DETECTIVE WORK WAS STILL INCOMPLETE
Now compare the amazing work of the FBI in concluding with blinding speed "whodunnit" with this February 25, 2008 article: 9/11 victims identified from new DNA finds yes, that's 2008, where we learn:

" After the September 11 attacks, 1,597 of the presumed 2,789 victims were identified from the DNA of 19,946 pieces of human remains found in the rubble. In October 2006 a further discovery of remains prompted another forensic operation. "An electrical company was in this dead manhole trying to clean it out for the rebuilding effort," Dr Bradley Adams, of the New York Chief Medical Examiner's Office, told the meeting. "Someone said they had found what might be human remains." His team found 208 bone fragments in the manhole.

A report ordered by the New York mayor, Michael Bloomberg, called for a comprehensive search of Ground Zero and a two-block radius. About 600 manholes and the interiors of five buildings were searched, and a 350-metre stretch of road built to provide access to the Ground Zero construction site was excavated.

The excavated material was mechanically sorted to separate out fine-grained particles, and then 75 anthropologists sorted the rest by hand. In all, they discovered 1,796 pieces of human remains. The sorting operation was wound up in December and DNA work is just beginning.

"We've made numerous links to previously identified victims," said Adams. "We also have new IDs that have come out of this project. Once the DNA testing really comes full circle it will be fascinating to see how many new IDs we get."

That's interesting - in 2008 they still hadn't identified all of the people that were literally blown to bits by kerosene fires - but somehow by September 28, 2001 they'd printed all of the hijackers' pictures in the Washington Post. How do they know some of the yet-unidentified people were not victims - but terrorists? The more one thinks about this the less sense it makes. OK - so let's hear what answers have been given to "crazy 911 truthers" when they scratch their heads and ask their government how we can have faith in their conclusions:

CHARLES GOYETTE INTERVIEWS POPULAR MECHANICS RE 911 EVIDENCE:

THIS INTERVIEW IS AWESOME - HANG IN THERE FOR THE DISCUSSION OF THE DNA EVIDENCE:
Listen to this Audio of Charles Goyette show asking this question to Davin Coburn of Popular Mechanics magazine. Davin's job was to fact-check.

Is "all over the place" the location of the DNA evidence as recorded in the FBI records? Sounds pathetic to me.

Popular Mechanics? That icon of journalistic excellence going all the way back to the Spanish-American war? That is our best guarantee that fact-checking of 911 facts is accurate? Remember Hearst Publications owns Popular Mechanics. And they laugh at the 911 Truth movement?

Goyette: "It's not the evidence we've seen that we're concerned about - it's the evidence we haven't seen."

So it's 2009 already and we don't have answers to our questions. The reason given for hiding information from the American public seems to come down to one answer: National Security. We need to have more national security because of 911. The U.S. government continues hiding 911 information from the American public because of national security. We need more national security because of 911.

DNA EVIDENCE TO ID OSAMA: ANY GOOD?
Does any of this still matter? Consider THIS ARTICLE regarding the renewed interest in catching Osama bin Boogeyman since everyone is wondering what the drug-pipeline mission is in the AFPAKistan war:

"Should he be killed, the United States is prepared to get samples of his DNA. Saudi Arabia has long held matching samples at the Ministry of Interior’s forensic lab in Riyadh to help with verification."

Uh huh right. There is a saying: "Don't believe everything you hear." Regarding the U.S. government I think it should read "Don't believe ANYTHING you hear."

Charlottesville AM Radio station 1450 in need of repair? - Plus guy on Stephanie Miller show thinks Osama bin Laden is dead

I was listening to the Stephanie Miller show on 1450 AM in Charlottesville today on my trip to C-ville's best coffee house "Greenberrys" for the usual blueberry muffin (if there are any left) and a mocha with whip. Although I'd tuned in for the background noise the show so shamelessly furnishes my conspiracy-theorist tuning circuit suddenly resonated with the mention on the show of the mother of all boogiemen - Osama bin Laden.

More specifically - the guy in the background on the show - Steph's sidekick - said he believes Osama bin Laden is dead.  Here comes the conspiracy theorist part - at 10:54 the emergency alert, the one you'd get if a tornado were coming into town - comes on the air blocking out the conversation for about 15 seconds. I couldn't hear the rest of what he was saying.  Suddenly the radio station comes back on the air and I hear a little more of his belief that Osama bin Laden is dead.  When the show continued the conversation moved towards nation-building - the automatic role of brave penniless Americans.

When I was a kid they used to come on the radio once in a while and say "This is a test of the emergency broadcasting system...this is a test..."  - then the tone would come on - followed by a post-test announcement - "This has been a test of the emergency broadcasting system..."  I speculate the pre and post-test announcements were to make sure people wouldn't panic - or think there was an actual emergency.  This isn't the first time I've heard this mistake happen on air here in town.  One thing I know - there was no emergency but there WAS an alert.  Ever hear the story about the boy who cried wolf?  I'm not sure who runs this  EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM ON AM IN C-VILLE   but I'll dig into it.  For now I can only say that crying FIRE in a crowded movie theater without a FIRE PRESENT is a bad thing for the public.

Nowadays - I guess this alert just comes on in the middle of radio conversations with no pre or post announcement and should generally be ignored.  I suppose the Stephanie Miller show sponsors don't have enough pull with 1450 AM in Charlottesville to make sure their product is delivered in its entirety.

Why is this important?  A few posts ago  I noticed Rush Limbaugh mention on-air that he's believed that Osama bin Boogeyman has been dead since the battle of Tora Bora Bora - which he proudly stated we turned "2000 degrees."  Maybe I'm over-analyzing this - but one wonders why Limbaugh has been so active cheerleading for the Afghanistan-turned-AFPAKistan war so vehemently - if he knew the reason repeated to his flock - and the entire nation was to capture a man not even wanted by the FBI for the 911 attacks.  Don't believe me?  Why don't you go HERE to the FBI most wanted page on Osama bin Laden where you will notice no mention of the 911 attacks.

Stephanie Miller had no opinion one way or the other on the whereabouts of bin Laden ( good call on her part otherwise she'd be looking for a job like most of the rest of us by the end of the week)  mentioning we have no evidence that he is dead.   Hey - I don't have any evidence Vercingetorix is dead either but I'll take Julius Caeser's word for it.

Stephanie poked the military in the eye for their macho-sounding names for the most recent assault on the "enemy" "over there" .   One such example was "Operation Cobra's Anger" which I would criticize for implying a snake is capable of being angry when it doesn't even have a cerebral cortex.  I would also criticize the name of the mission for the annoying use of an apostrophe ;)

I will admit that Stephanie Miller did sound a little more serious today given the topic - so I'll listen in again from time to time - it's a morning show and I know the audience may not be ready for too heavy of an issue before noon.  But when will they be ready?  I know I'm harsh on these radio folks but we have an ignorant population for a reason - and those consuming public airwaves have a duty to inform the public one way or the other.

So here's the mission - we kill a few of theirs, they kill a few of ours - and the non-white indigenous population dodges bullets, bombs and drone missile stikes on their wedding parties.  The  blackmailed U.S. Congresspersons keep the money flowing to the mercenaries while we all go broke.  That's the plan - all you have to do is pay attention.
